Welcome to the UWCU website - we would love to welcome you to join us this semester.

About CU society...

The Christian Union aims to have a positive impact on the whole of the university of Westminster - in that sense it is a society that exists for the sake of non members! We're mostly made up from Christians, of all denominations and backgrounds, and we value our diversity.

The central campuses and Harrow campus CUs are linked, though we don't get together that often for geographical reasons! We also have strong links with the Jesus Crew. As for the kind of things we do, we meet once a week at Regents campus on Thursday evenings 6:30-7:45 - to sing, listen to an outside speaker, then discuss and pray in small groups. The aims of our meetings are to help each other live as authentic and outward looking disciples of Jesus in the 21st century. New members, whether Christian or not - are always welcome!

We also are beginning to hold prayer meetings on each campus once a week. These are informal gatherings during lunch to pray for each other and for all the people on each campus. Again, we welcome newcomers to these.

From time to time we hold guest meetings specifically to introduce the Christian faith to people who wouldn't necessarily identify themselves as Christians. Last semester we had an evening at Inter:mission of Christian rap - and also hosted a talk with Q&A on science and religion. Look out for publicity and come along!
